CFEngine Fundamentals & Industrialization (2 or 3 day classes)
A non-technical intro will provide attendees with an understanding of the aims, advantages and constraints of configuration management in modern IT environments, CFEngine's role in this field, and will provide key points for planning and driving successful adoption. If you choose to add the third day, the class moves on from elementary examples to real-world requirements, including complex parameters, reporting, interaction with other tools and planning changes.

In June 2013 CFEngine releases version 3.5 of its product line. With many improvements in CFEngine core, improved scalability for the Policy Server, support for federated IT infrastructures, global multi-site reporting, integration with Design Center and support for setting up self-service portals, this is a major release. Product manager Eystein Stenberg discusses the new release and gives demos of the new features.
