For episode 64 Lars demoed leech2 live: the library used to ship container data from CFEngine agents to Mission Portal. The slides he presented from are available as a PDF.
Lars showed how you can interact with leech2 through the CLI tool lch(1). The CLI tool is bundled in CFEngine >= 3.28 packages.
Later, he showed how the algorithm for block consolidation works.
After the show there was a nice discussion about how leech2 can be used for other purposes. We talked about extending the CFEngine reporting system with leech2 drop-in fragments, interacting with leech2 through the C FFI API, and how it would be nice to add JSON support.
